bursty_dynamics Tool
bursty_dynamics is a Python package designed to facilitate the analysis of temporal patterns in longitudinal data. It provides functions to calculate the burstiness parameter (BP) and memory coefficient (MC), detect event trains, and visualise results.
My Contributions
• Designed and implemented an open-source Python package for analysing temporal event sequences • Published on PyPI and archived on Zenodo for reproducibility • Full Sphinx documentation • Designed the tool for research and applied use, with relevance to user behaviour analysis, anomaly detection, and healthcare event data.
